Greetings!
- The Center for Student Diversity is hosting a cookout today Thursday Sept 3rd from 4pm to 6pm in the Chesapeake's rooms and terrace. There will be free FOOD, music, mocktails... and this will also be a chance for you to learn about other multicultural student organizations on campus. ADC will have a table and will be recruiting new members, so stop by to show some support if you are around. - The first issue of our newsletter The African Diaspora will be released tomorrow Friday and will feature many interesting articles about upcoming events and recent African news, a music review, a recap of the Spring semester, a spotlight on the work of Ivorian Hope Inc., an introduction of the board members and much more. You will be able to get it at the Women's center, the African American center or from any board member. There will also be a digital copy available to download from our website on Friday. Meanwhile you can get a preview of it by reading some of the articles posted on our blog at http://africandiasporaclub.org/blog.
