While the Spring semester is said to be less exciting than the Fall, Spring 2009 was surely an exception to this widely held belief. This semester was filled with educational events, leadership growth, an affair for charity and a BBQ blowout to celebrate an excellent semester for ADC.

2009 African Carnival Experience
Written by Bintu Musa
Thursday, 03 September 2009

"I'm so proud to be African" read many Facebook statuses the day after the DC Caribbean Carnival. The experience was just that great! It started with a powerful collaboration between AfriCarnival, AllAfricanPromo and a group, very dear to ADC's heart, Team Africa.Though the AfriCarnival float has been a part of the DC Caribbean Carnival for several years now, many in attendance at this year's carnival, argue that this was the best. The float's theme was a tribal theme, with both men and women's outfits resembling Zulu warriors. The participation included students from different area schools.

Towson University’s Stephens Hall is one of the most highly populated lecture halls on campus. I would say about 75 percent of Towson’s undergraduate students must enter the doors of Stephens at least once during their tenure at Towson. This may be to fulfill a requirement for their major whether it is Statistics, Economics, Accounting, Management, Finance, etc. Ironically, Stephens Hall was the very first hall built to represent Towson University.

So You Looked, Now What?
Written by Mojola Fatukasi
Saturday, 06 December 2008

I’m BACK!This Dr. Mojo article is basically a continuation of my last article “To look or not to look.”Since we are only human and are prone to flaws, there is a high possibility that we will “accidentally” take a peek at our significant other’s “stuff.”Its happened to the best of us no matter how hard we try to stop snooping so don’t beat yourself up for being weak. There is nothing new under the sun and some other woman has done it before. So after snooping you find something that greatly troubles your mind i.e. messages back and forth to another girl that will not just leave your man alone or evidence that he has been creeping around on you. What’s a sister to do now?

Yes, I know my style is chic,

Written by Mojola Fatukasi
Thursday, 21 February 2008
Mojola FatukasiI was talking to a good friend of mine and I told him to be a “man.” His response to me was “what is the definition of a real MAN from your perspective?” There are some characteristics a guy has that will differentiate if he is a man or a boy. Besides the obvious physical characteristics that tell the difference, please do not be deceived that a 30 year old male is a man.
